My mother has always loved lighting candles at home. In some way, candles symbolize home, safety, and comfort to me.
They can’t lighten a whole room by themselves, but they can guide you. They can’t warm you on a cold night, but they can gift you comfort.
A single candle might not be able to have as much of an impact as a fire.
But they are hope.
