Inspired by my life with chronic pain, I am deeply interested in the way art can bring light to the darkest places. Creating helps me understand things and find strength in myself and what I’m going through. My current work draws on the symbolism of fire and candlelight, emphasizing the importance of every light, no matter how small.
I am always searching for something more, for comfort, purpose, passion, and the proof that I am not alone. This work is my way of finding them.
